We are gradually remodeling our master bath and this morning I decided to tackle the shower pan.

As you can see, I’m having to break it apart piece by piece because it was cemented down. I only worked on it for an hour, but it felt like two.
The drain is a complete mystery to me. It also looks like it is cemented down. Hopefully, I won’t need to get a jack hammer.
After ripping out the tile and drywall, I really didn’t expect this to be so tough.

I think bathrooms are always the hardest to remodel because of all the plumbing involved. Looks like you are getting there though. It just takes longer than you expect.
